Blood Ties

Description for BLOOD TIES by Judith E French:

Tawes is many things: a quaint fishing village, an island with an often violent history, a place of secrets, an ancient Indian burial ground. For Buck Davis, it is also a crime scene. As the new Chief of Police, he's faced with a vicious murder, a mysterious drowning, and the islanders' disturbing belief in an old Nanticoke curse. Equally unsettling are his feelings for the victim's daughter, Native American archeologist Abbie Night Horse. But she is an outsider. In her demands for justice, her belief in love, Abbie discounts a truth that could destroy her life: On Tawes, nothing is more powerful than...Blood Ties.

This is #2 in Blood Series.
