Brave Men All

Description for BRAVE MEN ALL by Noble Paul Roth:

They fought through some of the dirtiest battles of World War II in Europe.  Their unit was part of a mountain division, and they were the ones who had to wrest northern Italy from the Germans.  Hastily trained, fighting on, strange terrain in a hostile country, they battled their way from the Apennines through the Po Valley and up into the Alps.

And they they waited---in putrid, muddy foxholes, in bloody, body-strewn trenches and in snow-packed mountain passes---for the seemingly endless waves of Nazi panzers, artillery and planes to subside.  Courageously and valiantly they fought for their beloved country.  Many died; a few survived...but  they were BRAVE MEN ALL
