Description for CAPITOL OFFENSE by Barbara Mikulski and Marylouise Oates:

Senator Eleanor "Norie" Gorzack is the newest member of the United States Senate. She knew the job would be difficult, but she never imagined it could be deadly. It's her first day on the job when she witnesses a horrible accident on the Senate subway. A Vietnam vet has been killed and Norie realizes it's murder. But who would kill him, and why was he trailing her?

Then the threats begin. Someone seems determined to put an end to Norie's political career---permanently. Now, as Norie stakes out her claim on the important issue of MIA's she begins to see a connection between her cause and the murdered man. And it's a connection that could get her killed.
