Description for DARK HOUSE, DARK ROAD by Carter Wick:
There's nothing wrong with making movies
Or with making money—lots and lots of it. But when Melville Hirsch accepted financial support for his new film production from the Mafia, he found himself on the wrong side of the law.
And when the district attorney's office squeezed him for information about his new backers, he found himself on the wrong side of his angels.
It suddenly looked as if Hirsch's newest production would also be his last—a real-life drama, with a real mobster's bullet providing the smashing climax…and the most ultimate ending of all.
