Innocent Fire

Description for INNOCENT FIRE by Brenda Joyce:

FIRE AND ICE

Wrenched from a sheltered life in a French convent, Miranda was on her wary to the New World, betrothed by her English father to a Texas rancher she had never met. It seemed worse than a sentence of death! Shaking with fear, she arrived in America to be greeted by her fiance's friend, Derek Bragg, a ruggedly handsome, half-Apache Texas Ranger, whose coarse manners and frank appreciation of her young beauty enraged her.

Although Bragg fought to deny his feelings for his charge, he knew he was falling hopelessly in love. Miranda, too, was struggling with new dad m, and as they made their wary across the treacherous wilderness, she was drawn to her protector -- captivated by his raw masculine virility -- so bold, so shocking... so sinfully irresistible.
