Based on fact. As World War II winds down in Italy, Mussolini joins a caravan filled with Germans, Italians, and looted treasure in an attempt to reach Switzerland. But he?ÇÖs captured by partisans on Lake Como and the treasure is impounded. Within six days Mussolini and his mistress are executed and the treasure, some 90 million dollars worth of gold, jewelry and priceless art, disappears.
