In the midst of a major international crisis, the President of the United States calls Dr. Desaix Clark, a psychiatrist and international crisis manager, into his office.  The President invokes patient-doctor confidentiality and divulges the existence of a coup against him.  Almost immediately afterward, Desaix sees the Secretary of State, who informs him that the President is crazy and is organizing a coup against himself.  Who is behind the coup and why is it being undertaken?  Which person is telling the truth?  Can Desaix defuse the psychological bombshell in the White House before it's too late?
