THE JOB SEEMED EASY ENOUGH...Just clean out the Nogales Bank, and ride on down to Mexico to lay low for a few days. Nice and simple. That's what Slocum thought, anyhow, before an itchy partner started spraying hot lead inside the bank.

Now he's got a cold-eyed lawman on his trail, an unshakable, unkillable cuss who'd track Slocum to Hell without a warrant. And if that ain't trouble enough, Slocum gets himself mixed up with a greedy, half-crazy Mexican revolutionist and his hacienda-bred spitfire with roving eyes.
