Safe Passage

Description for SAFE PASSAGE by Ellyn Bache:

WAITING FOR WORD

When Mag Singer Awakes with a start at four-thirty one morning her intuition tells her something has happened to one of her seven sons.  Then the TV news confirms her worst fears:  she and her husband learn of an explosion at a Marine barracks in Beirut, where their middle child, Percival, is stationed.

Three days tick slowly by as the Singer family waits to hear if Percival is dead or alive.  In those excruciating hours this complex family will explore their secret thoughts, silent hopes, and deepest fears.  And with each moment that passes, the Singers will learn that their family bonds can be stretched to the limit…but never broken.
