WELCOME TO NEW HOLLAND, NEW YORK
Recalling that he'd happened upon a corpse in a cornfield the last time he accepted a consulting job in an upstate village, New York architectural historian Winston Wyc wasn't too eager to head north again into the countryside. But the monastery retreat that was hiring him occupied a medieval castle high on the cliffs above the Hudson River, and Winston was just intrigued enough to accept the assignment.
Between meetings, he took a walk down to the boathouse, gazed into the depths of the river...and spied a hand sticking out of the water. A very dead hand. Within hours of discovering his second up-country corpse, Winston's name was on a list of very odd and ill-matched suspects, including a nun, an art collector, a feisty but sexy reporter, and a wise old river rat with a taste for Jack Daniels.
Winston wished he'd never left the Murder Capital of the World to come to this peaceful Hudson River village. On the other hand, solving this crime would be quite a challenge....
This is #2 in A Winston Wyc Mystery.
