In the parallel universe that was home to the North American Confederacy, George Washington had been executed for his regal tendencies, and Alexander Hamilton had died in well-earned Prussian exile.

Now the Confederacy is a nice place---no poverty, no government, hardly any crime. Most of the locals like it that way. But centuries after Washington's execution, some die-hard Hamilitonians want to make things "better"---and they're going to travel back in time to save him.

And the only thing that stands between them and a truly imperial presidency is a small band of Confederate patriots led by a porpoise and a Denver cop!
