The Voice

A group of boys playing in Dublin is shocked and terrified when a dog attacks and mutilates of of them.

A Broker ex-marine finds a cassette tape and two thousand dollars in a package left in his New York apartment by a "friend".

These two apparently dissimilar events share a common link: both are the work of the Voice. The anonymous strategizer, the mastermind behind the theft and disappearance of some of the world's most famous artworks, plans his most daring heist: the theft of Ireland's ancient and most valued treasures.

The Voice gambles on a rabies outbreak to deflect national interest, both public and private, from all other concerns. The the group of misfits he has collected can attempt their desperate, risky task. But can this gang - an English actor ostracized after a scandal involving a young boy; a French diver eager to retire with a hefty bank account; an electronics engineer newly released from prison; the ex-marine with no future---pull off this job before the rabies epidemic is beyond anyone's control?
