Vanitas

Description for VANITAS by S P Somtow:

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU’VE DONE IMMORTALITY?

Timmy Valentine is a rock star, dubbed the Prince of neo-Gothic.  He used to be a vampire, but finally, after two thousand years of blood-drenched undeath, he shed his curse to become mortal once more.

But something’s missing.  Now that he’s human, his career is fading.  His music lacks life…soul…blood.

To find his lost inspiration, Timmy Valentine must travel the world and confront his own grisly past.  From frenzied rock concerts to the red light districts of Bangkok.  From MTV to Jack The Ripper and Vlad the Impaler, he embarks on a nightmarish odyssey to the outer boundaries of death, ‘sex, art…and horror.
