Y2K

Kate Donaldson is one of the CIA's finest operatives, a legend in the field of industrial espionage. But after taking the fall for a botched operation, she gives up on law enforcement, retiring to form a profitable high-tech company in Texas. Successful and in love with a software specialist, Kate is finally content - until her lover, the inventor of a computer algorithm designed to help solve Y2K-type problems, is seriously hurt by the same terrorist that ended her career. Enraged, Kate returns to the field to stop a madman willing to use whatever means necessary to cripple the world's information systems as the clock ticks down on the Y2K.
